How to Choose the Right Component

Quarter Turn Stud Selection

The “Oddie Fastener” is a quarter turn quick release fastener which has continually stood the tests of time for over 50 years. Its is designed for quick and easy panel fixings being especially useful where panels have to be firmly secured when closed but also designed to be open and shut frequently. The Oddie Fastener is now a firm's favourite for technical solutions of the future.

QUESTION - Do you require an anti-vibration washer?

Our range of neoprene washers are designed to eliminate vibration issues within the fixing. They will ensure the fixings do not vibrate/ rattle while in use.

Please use the included calculator on the next page to give you your washer length.

 

If you cannot get the desired length using our standard washers in the table below, combine multiple washers to get the desired length.

For applications where the gap between panels (DIM Y) is smaller than 2mm it is recommended you use one of our stainless-steel wavy washers for anti-vibration. See part numbers below:
